When our Naylor family became part of the Georgetown, Colorado community, we couldn't help but wonder why a lake on Guanella Pass was named Naylor lake. Since we had some naylors among our ancestors who had been in Colorado in the early 1800's, we asked ourselves if the person the lake was named after could have been a distant relative.
