A group of still-active senior citizens have been relegated to an old age home in Florida; here they will live out their remaining days with bingo, shuffleboard, assorted aches, and the much deeper pain of watching their friends die off one by one. But, life suddenly takes a sharp turn for the better with the arrival of the Antareans, advanced beings from another planet who return to Earth to complete a mission begun centuries ago. Quite by accident, the seniors stumble upon the interplanetary visitors, and in the process receive the gift of a very special life energy that brings with it adolescent vitality.
